Walk & Talk Counselling

Walk and Talk therapy is growing in popularity and is good for clients who may feel anxious or claustrophobic in a therapy room. This type of therapy stems from the belief that we are all part of the web of life and part of our environment. I am trained to offer you this option if you prefer to talk outdoors in nature and want to explore your place in this world further. 

Working therapeutically outdoors can be a more relaxing experience for us, and it may be easier for you to open up. When we move, we can think differently about aspects of our lives that have previously felt ‘stuck’. 

Physically moving forwards in the sessions gives a sense of looking forward to the changes that you want from therapy. 

We can use various locations depending on your preference which includes the beach, the woods, the country park or just an urban walk.
