I’m a qualified and experienced integrative therapeutic counsellor, based in Deal, Kent. I work with adults, children, and young people, offering a calm, confidential space where you will feel heard and supported. My practice is welcoming to everyone, and I have particular experience working with neurodivergent clients, as well as members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Sessions take place in my peaceful, wheelchair-accessible therapy room, which has free parking and no stairs. I also offer online and telephone counselling if that’s more comfortable for you. Sometimes you may also meet Daisy, my gentle Cavapoo therapy dog in training, who can be a calming presence for those who like animals.
Life can feel overwhelming, and it’s normal to feel uncertain, unmotivated, stuck, or in need of support at times. I work with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression/low mood, trauma, bereavement, loss, relationship difficulties, family issues, identity exploration and life changes. As an integrative counsellor, I draw on different therapeutic approaches —including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, and Humanistic approaches—so we can work together in a way that feels right for you.
I believe you are the expert of yourself, and my role is to walk alongside you, helping you explore your thoughts and feelings without judgement. Together, we’ll build a trusting relationship where you can talk openly, feel understood, and develop strategies to help you move forward.
